This is an old industrial lathe from the 60s in the shop at Ezell Industries where they fabricate all kinds of unique and special things out of aluminum. It’s amazing how these old industrial tools still do the job albeit without all the digital manipulation and incrementing, etc…

I love this old equipment. It’s what made me want to teach Industrial Arts back in the day. So cool.

The girls love to open the gates when we take a ride through the pastures at the ranch. This little cowgirl was climbing all over the gate while we were driving through.

I thought this might be something I would look back on one day and be reminded of how young they were; how special these times are.

Fun with the dodge and burn tools. I was going for a photographic, painted look; almost 3D. If I had bracketed this I would’ve started with an HDR version and worked from there.

One of the main gates at Great Grandaddy Josh’s place in Perry Florida. I spent the day with Dad and cousin Earnest being reminded that the Ezell’s have a heritage. 100+ years in the Perry Florida area is something to be proud of.

I saw this as we were driving by on the way to feed the Geese. I’ve seen it before several times but this time it looked different and I just had to take a picture.

Really cool old building with all those windows. I’m not even sure what this building was…

I love the waxy, bokeh in this photo. 1942 is when this was taken. We’re still trying to emulate this with digital….awesome.
